It is intended to provide a place where we can share our best work and freshest thinking about sports imagery, and where you can engage in lively conversation with our bloggers and other readers. From time to time, comments may require moderation before they appear on the site, especially during periods of high traffic. Moderating comments allows us to ensure that conversation stays focused on sports imagery and meets our standards for interaction.

We aim for open and honest conversation that respects bloggers and commenters and will operate the blog based on “living room rules.” Please respect this blog as you would respect the home of a friend who invites you over for a chat. We will restrict or remove any comment that includes material that:

• Contains pornography, foul language, obscenity, or other objectionable content (including language or content that is harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or invasive of another’s privacy).
• Reveals Getty Images’ or any other party’s trade secrets, confidential material, or other information that should not be publicly disclosed.
• Contains advertisements, spam, or other solicitations.
• Disparages our customers or competitors.
• Violates applicable US laws or infringes on copyrights.

Of course you wouldn’t do any of those things… but if others do we’ll make sure you don’t have to put up with it.
