Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse (in D & G) performed together for the first time in ages at the 2008 BRIT Awards in London. The über-producer and troubled chanteuse had a falling out over Amy’s no-show at Ronson’s video shoot for “Valerie,” for which Amy sang the lead vocal. Bringing down the house last evening, the two musical masterminds cannot deny their chemistry, which is why they’re soon heading to the studio to record Amy’s much-anticipated third LP.

Lil Mama (born Niatia Jessica Kirkland) made one of her few public appearances since the passing of her mother, Tyra Kirkland in December. Her label Jive Records confirmed internet reports that the elder Kirkland had lost her fight with colon cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2003. The “Lipgloss” singer performed at the after party for the premiere of Paramount Vantage’s How She Move in Los Angeles. In addition, Kirkland has just completed her Up Close and Personal tour with Chris Brown earlier this week.

With a hot new video for her first single “2 Hearts” and a documentary film White Diamond, chronicling the Australian superstar’s “Showgirl Homecoming Tour”, the ultimate showgirl shows no signs of stopping after 20 years in the music business. She said of her return to the stage, “‘Showgirl’ is not only a celebration of [my] pop songs and my career, but of a long time relationship with my audience. This is my way to say thank you and to share some of the most important moments of my journey so far.”

Underwood took home female vocalist of the year (for the second year in a row) and nabbed single of the year for “Before He Cheats.” Underwood left her mark on the audience performing in a dramatic canary yellow gown with a train that rivaled Princess Diana’s wedding gown! Jennifer Lopez appeared onstage with Good Morning America’s Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts in New York City. Amid a crowd gathered outside ABC’s studio in Times Square, Sawyer danced around the question everyone wants to know: Is she pregnant? The Bronx beauty and Sawyer have been close since Lopez reveled her engagement to Ben Affleck in a sit-down interview in 2003, so in respect to that friendship, Sawyer begrudgingly asked, “All right, all right, I know what everybody’s asking, and I know you have so little privacy in your life … so, I’m just going to say, ‘How are you?’ ” Lopez’s reply? “I’m very well, thank you. This is really, really a great, happy time in my life. … Everything’s great.” When do you think Jennifer will announce her pregnancy?
