Preparing for a “green” shoot…
For the past few weeks I have been researching eco-villages and methods of sustainable living in preparation for a shoot with Erik Snyder on green families and home life. For all of the research geeks out there I thought I’d share some of the interesting resources I’ve come across. First, a definition of an eco-village:

The goal of our shoot is to capture the community spirit of the early adopters of green living in a way that is compelling and identifiable to a broader audience. For example, gardens are very green:
Living a green life is perceived by many as inconvenient and foreign. I hope to show the smaller steps that can be taken in daily life and portray how those steps can actually improve one’s quality of life.
